Somali Meaning: Suuqyadu aad bay u mashquul badan yihiin (cidhiidhi yihiin) maadaama qof kastaaba uu ku jiro dukaamaysigii ugu dambeeyey ee Ciidda.
Vocabulary:
- “Crowded“: Cidhiidhi / Mashquul (A place full of many people).
- “Last-minute“: Daqiiqadda ugu dambaysa (Doing something just before it’s too late).
2. I need to buy matching outfits for the children and some gifts for my relatives.
Somali Meaning: Waxaan u baahanahay inaan u soo iibiyo carruurta dhar isku mid ah (isku joog ah) iyo hadiyado aan u geeyo qaraabada.
Vocabulary:
- “Matching outfits“: Dhar isku soo baxayo / Isku joog (Clothes that look the same or go well together).
- “Relatives“: Qaraabo (Members of your family).

Somali Meaning: Waxaan raadinayaa wax qurux badan haddana dhaqan ah oo aan xirto salaadda Ciidda.
