1. We are entering the last ten nights, so itβs time to increase our worship.
Somali Meaning: Waxaan galaynaa tobankii habeen ee ugu dambeeyey, markaa waa waqtigii aan kordhin lahayn cibaadadeena.
Vocabulary:
- “Last ten nights“: Tobankii habeen ee ugu dambeeyey (The final and most blessed part of Ramadan).
- “Increase“: Kordhin (To make something greater in amount or intensity).
2. I am exhausted, but I will push through the tiredness to pray Qiyam-ul-Layl.
Somali Meaning: Aad baan u daallanahay, laakiin waan is xajinayaa (waan is dhiirigelinayaa) si aan u tukado salaadda habeenka (Qiyaamu-laylka).
Vocabulary:
- “Exhausted“: Aad u daallan (Very, very tired).
- “Push through“: askeysi / Is xajin (To continue doing something even though it is difficult).
3. These final nights are the most blessed, so we must make every second count.
Somali Meaning: Habeennadan u dambeeya ayaa ugu barako badan, markaa waa inaan ilbidhiqsi kasta ka faa’iidaysannaa.

- “Most blessed“: Ugu barako badan.
- “Make every second count“: Inaad ilbidhiqsi kasta ka faa’iidaysato (To use your time as effectively as possible).
